Use the Route Equipment Modification window to change the equipment on a route. A separate window is displayed for each route selected.

The Route Equipment Modifications window contains the following information.
Equipment tab | |
Route ID | System identifier of the route. |
Service Address | Address associated with the route. |
Order Type | Select the appropriate order type to change the equipment. Only order types with an order class of "Change Order" are available in the drop-down list. |
Line Card Type | Kind of line card currently on the route. Select the line card type from the drop-down list if you want to change it. |
Location Description | If applicable to the line card, the name of the physical end of a service, such as Location A, per your company's standards. |
Remove Route | Changes the Route Status to Inactive and all of the route's equipment Action to Remove. Applies to line card routes with a status of Active or Left-In. |
Action | Change to be made to this equipment. Defaults to Leave Alone. |
Equipment Type | Type of equipment currently assigned on the route. |
Equipment Name | Name of the equipment currently assigned on the route. |
Current Status | Current status of the equipment on the route. |
Remarks tab An area to add any remarks or comments related to the equipment on the route. Maximum characters: 500. | |
To designate equipment to be removed:
Right-click a piece of equipment to be replaced and select Remove. This changes the action from Leave Alone to Remove.
To specify equipment to be added:
Right-click in the Equipment tab and select Find Existing Equipment or Create New Equipment.
