Occasionally service numbers in the system may get out of synchronization with information in the switch. By performing the Switch Refresh function, a service can be re-provisioned without disconnecting and reconnecting it in the system.
To perform a Switch Refresh:
Right-click the wireless service listing in the customer Catalog Item window.
Note
You must have the appropriate permissions assigned: Application > CostGuard Client > Customer Management > Customers > Catalog Items > Refresh Service Number.
Select Refresh from the drop-down list. This open the Refresh Services Wizard.
Select a Provisioning Company by clicking the appropriate check box.
Select the appropriate order type from the Order Type list.
Note
Only Order Types with an Order Class of Refresh Order are available for selection.
Click the appropriate box if you want to review the order before submitting.
Click Finish to continue.
Take note of the Confirmation message and click Yes to continue.
An Order Submitted Successfully window is displayed if everything is in order.
