The system provides convenient access to registers for management activities without having to log-in to each register on an individual basis. Access is provided on two levels:
The Register Overview window lists all registers for a selected store. This window is typically used by store managers to get a quick overview of all store registers to determine cash and check amounts currently in each register. From this window you can run register-level and store-level reports, view register transactions, and reconcile registers.
To open this window, from the main menu select Applications > POS Front Office > Register > Register Overview.
The My Registers window displays the status of all registers tied to your machine name (the Machine Name of your PC). These registers may be distributed across several stores. This window is typically used by users that need to enter transactions on behalf of other stores and frequently switch between multiple stores through out the day. From this window you can run register-level reports, view register transactions, and reconcile registers.
To open this window, from the main menu select Applications > POS Front Office > Register > My Registers.
