Make Sale Wizard - Customer Search

Enter some search criteria to either locate an existing customer or create a new customer.

Tip
If you want to create a new customer, simply enter a letter (for example: Z) in the Customer Name field. This will ensure that an empty search results list is returned (making the search quicker).

Customer search criteria

Search Criteria

You can search with the following criteria:

Service Number	A unique number associated with an account.
Account Number	The Account Number is a unique number auto-generated by the system and assigned to a customer when entered into the system.
Customer Name	The name of the person or business on the account.
Billing Contact Name	The name of the individual to contact regarding billing-related questions or concerns.
Social Security Number (last 4)	The social security number entered, or displayed, is the social security number of the individual responsible for the account(s). Note When the SSN for a customer is returned after a search, the first five digits are hidden and the last four digits are displayed.
Drivers License (last 4)	The drivers license entered, or displayed, is the license number of the individual responsible for the account(s).
Drivers License state	The state where the drivers license was obtained for the individual responsible for the account(s).

Click Search to display the Customer Search Results window with any matches, and options to proceed.
