Locations

The two Locations windows list the Originating and Terminating locations that can be used to set up your discount.  

1. Select New to add an Originating Location. This opens the Locations window.

   A red text message is displayed until the fields are populated.

2. Choose a Location Type from the drop-down list and enter the corresponding location information. Separate multiple entries with commas (,). Example: NY,PA.

   Each location type requires a specific kind of information as follows:

   • LATA.OCN: LATA and OCN separated by a period. This table is maintained by IDI, but must be populated before configuring discounts.

   • NPA: NPA number as set up in the NPAs table.

   • State: State abbreviation as set up in the State table.

   • Country.Region: Country code and Region code, separated by a period. For example, entering 33.9,39.2 adds Monaco, France and Milan, Italy to the list. The country codes and region codes must exist in the Countries and Regions table.

   • Dialed Digits: String of digits that may be dialed (maximum digits: 16). For example, 5859244110 designates a specific phone number in the U.S., 4822 designates calls to Warsaw, Poland.

3. Click OK to add the location to the list.

4. Click Next. This displays the Terminating Locations window.

5. Select New to add a Terminating Location. This opens the Locations window.

6. Choose a Location Type from the drop-down list and enter the corresponding location information. Separate multiple entries with commas (,). Example: NY,PA.

7. Click OK to add the location to the list.

   To delete an entry, select a Location Type from the list and click Delete.

   If you are modifying a pre-configured discount, select the location you want to change and click Edit. This opens the Locations window as described above.
