Force First Installment at Sale

If an item is to be paid in installments, you can set the first payment to be part of the amount tendered at the time of the sale. For example, if the item is $150 and the number of installments is three, the first installment of $50 is added to the amount due for tendering. Two remaining installments of $50 will be billed on the customer's next two invoices.

If the first installment is not included in the sale, the item will be billed at $50 on the customer's first three invoices.

If this option is not selected here, you can choose to select it at the time of the sale.
