Functional Area | AR/FR | Description |
|---|---|---|
System | FR 3294 | Support for SQL Server2019 CostGuard application server and web services have been certified to support SQL Server 2019. |
Orders | FR 3011 | Bulk update features The Orders web module now supports the ability to bulk update features, similar to what is supported in the Client. The Action drop down menu has a new Update option in addition to the existing Disconnect and Reconnect options. When you choose to update features you can select multiple items and update them all through one order. The Update option is permission-based. The Update Feature permission has been added to the Order Admin, Order Manager and Order User roles. Note: The Client is still needed for Advanced Wizard Change Feature functionality. |
Workflow | FR 3170 | Automatic removal of subscription history records from Workflowdatabase Workflow stores the full message and result for every trigger message that is processed in the Workflow database, table dbo.SubscriptionHistory. If a message fired by a web service or IDI system has a configured trigger in Workflow, the information about processing that event will be stored. Over time this table has grown to be quite large. To help keep the Workflow footprint manageable, this enhancement provides a new recurring system trigger – |System Workflow| Delete Subscription History and workflow action Delete Subscription History – to automatically delete old trigger history records from the Subscription History table. The action is only intended for use with this system trigger. The parameters for this system trigger exist in SaaS Configuration and can be updated by an IDI resource. The default setting is 90 days. |
FR 3333 | TaskSearch – Display more of the Workflow Name Column widths on the Task Search results grid have been updated to display more of the Workflow Name. | |
AR 8746 | Workflow Triggers for Corporate Account Changes New Workflow triggers provide the capability to generate notifications when corporate account structures and properties are updated (either from Customer Care, API or the Client), to inform other systems of the changes. The new triggers support the following events:

RateBill | AR 8715 | Usage type configuration for optional XML reports This enhancement provides the ability to configure the usage types in invoice sections without requiring IDI assistance. Prior to this, carriers needed to open a service request to add/remove usage types from an invoice section. Users can now specify which usage types the Billing Number Usage Summary and Wireline New Charges by Service Name optional XML reports will retrieve. This configuration is completed via Admin Console > Data Management > Settings using a specific Major/Minor Key combination for the reports. Note: This configuration for Billing Number Usage Summary was previously supported in Config Console which is unavailable to users, and was not supported for the Wireline New Charges by Service Name report at all. |
RateBill | AR 8764 | Provide a separate breakout for specifc services in Circuit Charge Detail XML The Circuit Charge Detail invoice optional XML report has been enhanced to provide a separate breakout for services that are identified by a configurable Product Catalog group. To enable this functionality a Catalog Group ID must be set up in the Settings table in Admin Console > Data Management. |
RateBill | FR 3331 | Local language support on invoice PDF generation The PDF Generation operation has been enhanced to support translation lookups. Capability to produce invoice PDFs in the language of a customer account can be supported. Note: A workorder is required for any stylesheet work that is needed to use this capability. |
Resolved Known Issues
Functional Area | PR | Description |
|---|---|---|
Customer Care | 83584 | Cannot open Transunion credit report in Customer Care On trying to access a Transunion credit report from Customer Care, the progress wheel would continue to spin and not load the report. This was due to the reports having NULL fields that Care was not handling properly. Customer Care has been updated to accommodate NULL values so it can now display these reports from Transunion correctly. |
Customer Care | 83594 | Leading space in ccFullname field In the Contact table, when Contact Title was populated, the ccFullname column started with a space instead of a letter. The method for constructing the ccFullname column as been adjusted to eliminate the leading space. |
Orders | 83600 | Timeouts When Viewing ServiceDetails Changes related to FR 3011 caused timeout issues on clicking a line item in the order to display the details.in an assembling order. This issue was most likely to occur when using an older SQL versions (2014). The query has been optimized to decrease the amount of time it takes to return line item details. |
Tickets | 83601 | Fixed journal status filtering by user group On creating a journal, journal statuses were not being filtered out of the list of selectable statuses when they were configured to be restricted to a specific User Group. If no journal type was selected, or there were no journalType/Journal Status links created for the journal type, more stauses than should have been were available for selection. This issue has been fixed by adjusting the query that retrieves the statuses to be available. |
OnlineBill | 83592 | On creating E-Pay ACH account, routing number displays as 0’s This issue impacts customers using Authorize.net and OnlineBill. OnlineBill uses Authorize.Net’s iframe when creating E-Pay accounts. When end users create ACH E-Pay accounts, the iframe captures the routing number but never passes it back to OnlineBill, so it was being displayed as all zeros (000000000). This was confusing end users, giving the impression that the routing number was incorrect. OnlineBill uses the Payment Gateway Application (PGA) to interact with Authorize.Net’s iFrame. The PGA has been updated to handle this scenario. OnlineBill will now display all asterisks (******) instead of all zeros. This is more in line with a masked value and will help avoid confusing end users. |
RateBill | 83596 | Billing error when invoice due date year is greater than2020 Upcoming bill runs would fail when the invoice due date was in the year 2021 due to an unnecessary hard-coded date check in billing logic. Billing has been proactively updated to not produce an error in this case. |
Tax Management | 83580 | Incorrect tax using Prorate Constant Amount option on volumediscounts An incorrect tax amount was calculated when a volume discount was configured with Prorate Constant Amount and applied to a charge that had both an arrears portion and an in-advance portion for an invoice. The taxable charge amount was incorrectly calculated for the arrears portion, resulting in an incorrect tax amount for that portion. Billing logic has been updated to correctly calculate taxes for this scenario. |
Payment Processing | 83576 | Payment files through background processing appear to bemissing When payment files are processed through background processing, there are checks to see if either Account Posting or Treatment jobs are running. If they are, the background process waits for them to complete for a period of time. If the timeout is reached, background processing errors the file and logs a message to try again later. The issue was that the message was only present in the log and not displayed in CostGuard Client. The Background process has been updated such that when the timeout is reached, the files are marked as encountering an error and the log message is displayed in CostGuard Client through Accounts Receivable > Batch Files. |
Treatment and Credit Scoring | 83591 | Automatic Restore Workbook not fired when payment made for past due balance on current invoice duedate When Automatic Restore is enabled on the Treatment Configuration form (Treatment Management > Setup > Treatment Configuration) and configured with the option to Run when adding a payment or adjustment and Customer must pay only past due balance, the automatic restore workbook did not fire when a payment was made for the past due balance on the due date of the current invoice. CostGuard was updated so that Automatic Restore workbook is fired for this scenario. |
