Users assigned document-related roles in the Security web module can add, view, and manage documents on a work order. This functionality (as described below) is common to document management functionality in other IDI web modules.
When viewing a work order, an Attach Documents button is available. The button indicates the number of documents attached to the work order (none currently attached in the example below).

Clicking the button displays an Attached Documents panel on the right. The panel lists documents currently attached to the work order (none are in the example below). Click the + button to attach a new document.

This displays a Windows Explorer form for navigating to the file you want to attach.

After you select the file, another form is displayed where you can specify a document name and category. You can also enter a note and mark the document as confidential if applicable.

After you choose to attach the document (by clicking Attach), the Attached Documents panel will list it in the list of attached documents. Each document will have a kebob (ellipsis) that provides options to Edit, Replace, or Delete the document. Click the document link to open and view it.

Once saved, the Attach Documents button on View Work Order button with indicate the number of documents currently attached to the work order.

Note:
Documents attached to a work order will not be displayed in Customer Care. This is to keep Workflow on an independent platform deployment schedule, not tied to other IDI application release schedules.
