Adding an Inventory Group

To add a new Inventory Group to an Inventory Group Type:

1. In the Group Types list, click on the Inventory Group Type where you want to add the new group. This displays the groups in the selected group type in the Groups table on right.

2. Right-click anywhere in the Groups table and select New. This displays the Add Inventory Group window.

3. Enter the Group name as described below:

   Group Type	Group Type to which the new inventory group is being added. This is pre-populated by the Group Type you selected.
   Group ID	This field is blank. When you click Save to add the new group, the system automatically assigns a unique Group ID to the new inventory group.
   Group	Name of the new inventory group used to organize an inventory.

4. Click Save. This adds the new inventory group to the group table on the right side of the Inventory Groups window.
