Prev Next

This wizard lets you add customer-level features to a customer account. To do this:

  1. Click the Features tab, right-click in the Features list, and select New > Feature(s). This displays the Add Feature(s) - Order Information window.

  2. Select an Order Type from the drop-down list.

  3. Select a Source Code (promotional code) from the drop-down list, if applicable.

  4. Enter a Sales Channel. Enter the sales code in the first field, if applicable. If you do not know the sales code, enter the sales name in the second field. Use * as a wildcard or click the Sales Channel button to view the Sales Tree window.

    Note

The Sales Channel button is disabled if more than 1000 records are detected. In this scenario, you must enter a specific sales code or sales name. The text field turns yellow when an exact match is found.

  5. Select a Sales name from the list and click OK.

  6. Enter a Receipt Number, if applicable. You may choose to use the number that appears on the customer's receipt for their POS purchase, if desired.

    Note

The Receipt Number field is only provided in an integrated POS and Wireless system.

  7. Select the Order State, which further explains the Order Status, from the drop-down list.

  8. Enter an Estimated Completion Date, if applicable.

  9. Click Next. This displays the Add Customer-Level Features window.

The Order section (left pane) lists the line items (features and services) for this order. The Features section lets you browse or search for a customer-level feature and set the start date. You can either search or browse to locate and assign features.

The Search method will fast assign the item and bypass the item Detail window. The Browse method lets you assign (enter details) or fast assign (bypass details).

    To search:

  10. Use the Search tab to enter the search criteria - SKU, Description, and/or or USOC (Universal Service Order Code).

  11. Click Find. If a matching catalog item is found, it is automatically added (fast assigned) to the Order list.

The Browse tab presents the available features in folders as they were configured in the Product Catalog.

    To browse:

  12. Browse the folders and select the feature(s) you want to add to the order list using one of the following methods:

    • Double-click on the feature. This adds (fast assigns) the feature to the order list and bypasses the item Detail window.

    • Right-click on the feature and select Fast Assign. This adds the feature to the order list and bypasses the item Detail window.

    • Right-click on the feature and select Assign. This displays the item Detail window. The content of this window varies, depending on the type of item. Refer to the Product Catalog section for details on each type of catalog item. Click Save in the Details window when you are finished. This returns focus to the Add Customer-Level Features window and adds the feature to the Order list.

  13. Click Next when you’re finished adding Customer-Level features. This displays the Order Options window.

  14. Review and submit the order as described in Submitting the Order.
