The Payment Gateway web application lets authorized users search for payment transactions and drill down to view transaction details. These transactions include:
Credit card payments entered via iframe in POS and OnlineBill
ACH transactions made via iframe in OnlineBill
Creation of credit card E-Pay accounts in Care
Notes:
Payments made against existing E-Pay accounts and/or recurring accounts are not searchable as the payment account information is not being entered into a web browser iframe at the time of the transaction.
PGA iframe transaction are subject to a 15-minute time out. Any transaction loaded into the ifram that is older than 15 minutes will be canceled. This is a security feature for mitigating possible use of abandoned PGA transactions.
Roles/Permissions
There are two roles related to this functionality as managed via the Security Web Module:
Role: Payment Gateway User, Permissions: Allow Log On
Role: Payment Gateway Admin, Permissions: Allow Log On and Administrator
Both roles let you search for transactions and view details. The Admin role lets you view all transaction detail fields, while some fields are hidden from Payment gateway users.
Users with either the Payment Gateway Admin or User role will have the Payment Gateway icon available in their Application Tray.
