The reasons for customer to require a loaner/rental are managed in the POS Back Office (Setup).
Note
Before making a rental/loaner sale the rental/loaner reasons must be configured.
Loaner/Rental Descriptions are displayed along with a system-generated Reason ID.
A reason for a customer loaner/rental may be that their phone is in for service or they are using a phone for a trial period before purchasing it.
To add or edit a Loaner/Rental Reason:
Right-click in the Loaner/Rental Reasons window and select New to add
OR
To edit a Loaner/Rental reason, double-click the reason's row to display the Add/Edit Loaner/Rental Reason window.
Add or change a Description. (The reason ID is system assigned.)
Click Save to keep your changes.
To delete a Loaner/Rental Reason:
Right-click the return reason you want to remove and select Delete.
