Release History

  • Version 25.11Extended Data Integration and Other Enhancements

This provides robust two-way integration for custom-defined extended data to improve efficiency and flexibility. You can easily add extended data to work orders, offering valuable extra information to assist your technicians and Zinier in completing tasks more effectively. The system also automatically retrieves, stores, and displays data collected by technicians, delivering a unified view of all information related to the work order.

This requires some additional setup and impacts Work Order Type configuration and Work Order management. In addition, related workflow actions have been updated to support this.

This release also provides these other enhancements:

    • Automatically collect and attach the Zinier close-out package to the work order.

    • Automatically update a ticket’s status when the work order is completed.

Notes:

  • Zinier customers need to be on Zinier External API version 1.3 to start sending extended data to Zinier. Be advised: A bug in the Zinier External API version 1.2 causes tasks to be duplicated when the work order includes extended data.

  • You also need to enable sending extended data to Zinier in Workflow. This is described in the Setup section on Configuring Zinier Connection Parameters in Workflow.

  • Version 25.8Miscellaneous Enhancements

    • A Work Order Summary option in the Orders information center lets you review the work order status and inform internal and external stakeholders.

    • Work Order synchronization helps prevent unnecessary technician dispatches. The system will automatically update open work orders to Canceled when the associated Order is canceled or the Ticket status is set to Closed.

  • Version 25.4Initial Release
