IDI Platform Version 24.3 Details

Web Sales is an ongoing development effort to provide a complete web-based solution for managing the full scope of front office transactions including billing orders, tendered retail sales and direct invoice transactions.

Functional milestones will be deployed over a series of CostGuard software releases where each subsequent release builds on the prior one. This release provides an enhanced user experience for selling and fulfilling non-serialized and serialized retail items, including:

• Displaying the on-hand quantity during assembly
• Adding a shipping contact to a retail item being fufilled
• Applying taxes based on shipping contact
• Performing a retail inventory search

Two enhancements are provided with this release:

• New Landing Page provides links to the various functional areas supported in the Product Catalog web module. This page replaces landing on the Associated SKUs page.
• Two new permissions in Security govern access to managing starting blocks and protection plan profiles.

For providers that use the Provisioning web application, support for managing provisioning properties was added to Customer Care with FR 3548 in CostGuard version 24.2. With version 24.3, the following enhancements have been added:

• An indicator (*) for required fields based on the POD configuration. The indicator denotes any item that is configured as always required or required using advanced options.
• An indication when a required value is not populated. The system will not allow you to save unless all required fields are populated.
• A message indicating updates to provisioning properties in Customer Care do not update the provider endpoint.
